Uh oh… Things aren’t looking so good for the home team.  Next up, Case #11CIV0852.  This two-count civil complaint filed by American Builders & Contractors Supply Company (ABC) on June 3rd alleges that our favorite builder of quality homes ordered, and received (but has “refused” to pay for) goods in the amount of $72,669.72.  That’s some serious scrant!  It took UPH from November 2010 until April 2011 to rack up that bill.

But wait… There’s more!  According to the Medina County Clerk of Courts site, UPH proper has been served, however, attempts to serve Stephen Kovakck, President of UPH, have not gone so well.  Mr. K is also named as a defendant in this suit.

Also, it seems UPH has failed to answer the complaint in a reasonable amount of time, and ABC has filed a motion to have the court enter a judgement against UPH earlier this month.

Oh, and if you’re keeping score at home, this sum, along with the $16,795.19 being sought by Kaycan, LTD, makes the total bill $89,464.91 (plus interest!).  As always, we’ll keep our readers apprised of any changes to this story!
